“You know, Jack, wisdom comes with age. My wife and I have been together for 40 years, but one morning I looked closely at her and thought to myself, ‘Forty years ago, we had a small house, an old car, we slept on the same old couch, and watched a tiny TV. But every night, I went to bed with the most beautiful 20-year-old girl in the world. Now I have a huge, expensive house, a garage full of expensive cars, four enormous bedrooms, my own home theater — but I sleep in the same bed with a 60-year-old woman.’ Jack, I started to doubt my marriage.”
“Harry, did you do something about it?”
“Yes, Jack. I found myself a beautiful 20-year-old girl.”
Harry sighed and shook his head.
“And my wife… oh, these women, they always find a way to make our dreams come true. She gladly filed for divorce — and made sure that I moved right back into a small house, with an old car in the driveway, sleeping on a worn-out couch, watching a tiny TV all over again.”
