Turn on the Grid in the Viewfinder

The grid is a brilliant tool for photography. You don’t need to understand composition to make your photos look great. By dividing your image into horizontal and vertical thirds, objects in your shot will appear more visually pleasing when positioned at the intersections of these lines.
Plus, with the grid on, you’ll always hold the camera straight, ensuring your horizon is level. To enable the grid on iPhone, go to Settings → Camera → Composition and switch on Grid.
Set Focus and Exposure

No matter what you’re photographing, make sure the focus is on the area that naturally draws the eye. According to the rule of thirds, you should focus near the top, bottom, left, or right third of the frame.
While framing your shot, tap on the screen where you want to focus — a yellow square will appear, showing the focus point. This also locks in the exposure. After setting focus, swipe up on the screen to increase exposure (brightening the image) or swipe down to decrease it (darkening the image).
Use the “Magic Wand” tool

Nowadays, anyone can be a photo-editing wizard, letting artificial intelligence determine the best settings for a finished photo. The “Magic Wand” or “Auto” tool is a great starting point to see how an ideal photo should look.
After you tap the “Magic Wand,” you’ll notice some values on the adjustment sliders will be tweaked. Yellow circles indicate how much these settings have been altered from the original. You can experiment with each setting by selecting it and swiping left or right as you review the image.
