We don’t walk away from women who make us feel good. Not even the ones it used to be good with. A man who’s had something real with a woman doesn’t fully let go — even years later.
We’re not blind. We notice the unshaven legs, the roots that need touching up, all of it. We just don’t care, as long as we’re genuinely into you.
What we value most in a woman is being wanted. But only if that wanting is aimed at us alone. Sorry for the double standard — we didn’t write the rules, we just live by them.
Most of us can do laundry. Iron a shirt, run a vacuum, cook something edible. So don’t assume we’ll put up with attitude and disrespect just because you’re willing to do the dishes.
We’re not scared of strong women. We just don’t always want one — the same way you don’t want a weak man. And somehow the two still end up together constantly: a strong woman paired with a soft man isn’t the exception, it’s practically the rule.
If a guy seems oblivious, maybe he’s just not interested. That happens more than you’d think. We’re fully capable of showing off like peacocks one minute and going completely quiet the next — it depends entirely on whether we actually want you.
A woman yelling at a waiter doesn’t impress us. It does the opposite — it kills whatever respect we had, fast.
We’ll go along with a lot, for a long time, just to see how far it goes. Sometimes patience isn’t devotion — it’s curiosity about exactly how selfish you’re willing to be. We draw our conclusions once we have the answer.
There are roughly four billion women in the world — and plenty of them are smarter, kinder, and more successful than the one demanding the world from us while giving almost nothing back. We remember that.
Sometimes we go along with “it” even when we’re not really in the mood — just so we don’t hurt your feelings. But if you get to decide when you’re ready, so do we.
