How to cook: Peel and slice the potatoes into wedges, parboil them in water for 5-7 minutes, drizzle with oil, and bake in a preheated oven until golden brown. Young potatoes will be ready in about 15 minutes. You can bake small potatoes whole. If you want the spices to be evenly distributed, put the potatoes, spices, and oil in a plastic bag, seal it, and shake it well.

Ingredients: 9 medium potatoes, 9 teaspoons of butter, margarine, or heavy sour cream, 9 slices of hard or melted cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
How to cook: Peel the potatoes and cut a small piece from one end to make them stand vertically. Make slits along the length of the potato as if you were making french fries, but don’t cut through; leave about 0.5 inches (1 cm) uncut. Season with salt and pepper and place 1 teaspoon of butter (or margarine or sour cream) inside each potato. Optionally, you can add a bit of garlic to the slits. Place the potatoes in an ovenproof dish with high sides. Top each potato with a slice of cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for about 45-50 minutes, or until done. Potato stuffed with bacon and cheese

Ingredients: Potatoes, some bacon and cheese, garlic clove, salt, pepper to taste.
How to cook: Choose medium-sized, elongated potatoes. Make slits all over the potatoes without cutting through. Lightly salt them. Insert a slice of bacon and cheese alternately into each slit. Season with pepper, wrap in foil (add a garlic clove in the foil), and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.

Ingredients: 1 lbs (0.5 kg) of chicken meat, 5-6 potatoes, 1 onion, 1 small carrot, 2 tablespoons of flour, salt, pepper to taste, vegetable oil for frying.
How to cook: Slice the onion into half-rings and grate the carrot coarsely. Fry them until golden. Cut the chicken meat into medium-sized pieces and sauté until almost cooked with the onion and carrot. Dice the potatoes into large cubes or rings. Add 2 tablespoons of flour to the potatoes and mix. Add the potatoes to the meat. Pour enough water to cover the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer with a lid until the potatoes are cooked.

How to cook: Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until tender (about 20 minutes after boiling). Let them cool.
