Cheese croutons

Ingredients:
- Bread — wheat or rye
- Hard cheese — 2 oz (50 g)
- Garlic — 2 cloves
- Vegetable oil — 2 tablespoons
- Salt, spices, ginger, black pepper — to taste
How to cook:
Slice the bread into small cubes or slices. Sprinkle with all the spices, crushed garlic, and salt. Mix well and lightly drizzle with vegetable oil. Evenly spread on a dry baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at a medium temperature for 10-15 minutes. When the croutons start to brown, remove the baking sheet and sprinkle finely grated cheese on top. Leave in the oven until done. Croutons can be served with hot soups or vegetable juices.
Crostini croutons

Ingredients:
- Bread — baguette, loaf
- Olive oil — 2 tablespoons
- Garlic — 2 cloves
How to cook:
Slice the bread into slices. Mix olive oil with garlic and spread it evenly on the bread. Then place the bread slices on a dry baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in a preheated oven at a medium temperature for 10-15 minutes. During cooking, turn the croutons a few times with a fork. Once the croutons are golden brown, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve the croutons warm.
Butter croutons

- Butter — 2 oz (50 g)
- Salt — to taste
How to cook:
Slice the bread into long slices so that each slice can be lightly coated with butter. It’s preferable to have the butter at room temperature. Then cut the bread slices into cubes or slices, and place them on a dry baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in a preheated oven at a medium temperature for 10-15 minutes. It’s very important for making croutons to leave the oven door slightly open to let the moisture out. Stir the croutons a few times during cooking. Once the croutons start to crackle and turn golden brown, remove them from the oven and let them cool. Serve the croutons warm.
Seasoned beer snacks

Ingredients:
- Bread — wheat or rye
- Garlic — 3-4 cloves
- Salt — 1 teaspoon
- Any spices or herbs — to taste (fragrant ones work well)
- Vegetable oil — 3-4 tablespoons
How to cook:
Cut the bread into pieces. In a large bowl, add crushed garlic, salt, any spices, fresh or dried herbs. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to the mixture and mix well. Then add the bread to the bowl and vigorously shake the bowl from side to side. The bread pieces should be well mixed and fully absorb our mixture. Spread the bread slices on a baking sheet and place in a preheated oven at a medium temperature. During cooking, stir several times to ensure the croutons are evenly browned. These croutons are perfect as a snack with beer.
Tea croutons

Ingredients:
- Bread — loaf
- Sugar — 4-5 tablespoons
- Vanilla sugar — 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon — 1-2 teaspoons
- Brandy or rum — 1 tablespoon
How to cook:
Cut the bread into random but large pieces. In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and finally add rum or brandy. Coat our slices on both sides with the mixture and place them on a baking sheet in the oven. 20-30 minutes in a moderately heated oven is enough for the croutons to dry out and turn golden brown. These croutons are perfect with tea, coffee, or hot milk.
