The Present was created in 2014 as the graduation project of German student Jacob Frey. It took him and his small team more than a year of meticulous work to bring the story to life.
The result? An absolute triumph. The short traveled the world, won more than 50 prestigious international film festival awards, and moved millions of viewers to tears after the creators finally released it publicly on YouTube.
